The 4th annual Acappelooza comes to Newton North this Saturday, 7:30PM. The annual, ever-popular, a-cappella concert event is hosted by, and is the brainchild of two a-cappella heads – David and Anne Kalis. This year’s concert features “Ball in the House”, “Pitch Slapped”, Newton South’s Newtones, Newton North’s Forte.
Acapellooza I-III were sell out events held at Newton South. This year it’s moved to the larger Newton North auditorium in hopes of raising even more money for the Countryside Elementary School.
If you’ve never been to Acappelooza or if you’ve never been inside Newton North, give it a try. It’s always a good show. Tickets are still available for $12.

Maybe next year the Board of Alderman will have an Accapalooza entry, led by Alderman Kalis. What would be a good name for them? The Aldertones? BOAccapella?
