If you’re away next Tuesday then get down to City Hall on Friday for the last day of early voting 8:30AM – 5 PM.
I just voted there this morning and it was quite busy. The poll worker I spoke to said that yesterday it was busy all day long, so it sounds like there may be a whole lotta early voting going on.
My wife and I did early voting on Tuesday evening, and it was VERY busy! I hope all this early voting portends a high voter turnout this year!
In that case, I’ll wait and vote on Tuesday. Shorter line, walking distance from my house.
Everyone says they hope a lot of people vote; but if they are at all honest, they really do hope that people voting for the other side find some reason to stay home. I can’t say that I haven’t been guilty of such civically compromised thoughts in the past, or that these thoughts haven’t seeped into my brain this go around. Just saying as they say.
I voted at the city hall this morning at around 10:30 (after dropping off my house taxes and water bill payments). Only waited about 5 minutes. Only political activity outside the front door, on the steps, was someone holding an opt-out sign spewing THC statistics.
.. and hopefully soon the recreation pot discussion will finally go away
