Did you know that you can rent backyard chickens for truly organic, fresh eggs?  Or become an environmental hero by having a beehive installed in your yard?  Don’t miss the Newton Farmers’ Market, which kicks off its season with a “Gardening in the Garden City” event this Saturday, June 23.  The market will feature some of the best farm fresh produce and local products of the region, a gardening fair, and a lunchtime presentation on the reasons bees are disappearing. Come down to Elm Street in West Newton Square, visit the returning vendors and meet the new ones, pick up garden plants, see the chickens, find out about hosting a beehive, & much, much more!

The Market runs from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm.  “Give Bees a Chance” presentation from 12:30 – 1:30 pm, with 25% off of lunch from Paddy’s for attendees. RSVBees for presentation requested: https://bit.ly/2sHB6cY
