Is there anything new about this plan or the approach which will be taken, or is it just a formal roll-up of past practices and a starting point (seems fair, but it should be clear that this does not constitute a new plan) I’d feel better if the cover letter mentioned something about people being able to get around on foot after a snow emergency and how operations this year will be different from the past.
It would also be nice if the city published information on the web in a way that citizens could actually use. In just a few clicks, without scrolling through pages of text or wonky 272-page PDFs, citizens should be able to find resources to understand what to do in a snow emergency and how to get status information, preferably even from a device. The current set of resources reads more like a manual or encyclopedia than a website.
Yes, it would be helpful if there was something that identified any substantive changes to the Plan.
