I love Paddy’s because they are a great place to take the family as well as a great place to just hangout with friends. Most of all, because the O’Haras are amazing community partners.
We have some great publicans in Newton!
The All Stars are Seana Gaherin of Dunn and Gaherin’s and John and Carl O’Hara (O’Hara’s and Paddy O’s).
When I’m feeling a little upscale it’s tough to beat 51 Lincoln and I’m psyched to test the bar at their new outpost, Waban Kitchens.
D & A Pizza for their meatball sub.
I enjoy both Dunn and Gaherin’s and The Rox. They take good care of us and feed us well, plus are both very welcoming.
I can’t pick favorites because of my job, but I have to say that I have yet to meet ANYONE involved with food/restaurants in Newton who wasn’t a lovely person 🙂
My wife and I really enjoy the Local, and have had some good dinners at Farmstead Table.
Newton is blessed with many what I’d call upscale pubs, like O’Hara’s, Paddy’s, The Local, The Biltmore, Dunn and Gaherin’s, Mick Morgan’s, and the latest, Brewer’s Coalition. Consistently good, and reasonably priced.
Had Dinner at “the Rox” with family, YUMMY salmon
I always love my hot cider and ambiance at L’Aroma
It is a family ritual to have Saturday lunch at Shing Yee’s
So many great restaurants to choose from! We’re so lucky!
Tommy Doyle’s in Nonantum, where my 98-year-old friend Ray & I go after Sunday theatre shows. I also like Shing Yee for takeout, and Cabot’s for occasional meals out as well as ice cream.
