On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the City of Newton will be holding a ceremony in remembrance of the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The ceremony will be held on the War Memorial steps outside City Hall at 9:30am on Tuesday.
In addition there will be groundbreaking ceremony later that evening for the Newton 9/11 Memorial, which will soon be built on the grounds of the Fire Department Headquarters. The groundbreaking will take place at 6pm at Fire Headquarters, located at 1164 Centre Street.
