NewTV has been fortunate to have filmmaker Jesse Kreitzer on staff for as long as they have. But according to this tweet, Jesse’s leaving. If anyone knows the details, please share them here. And best of luck Jesse.

Very sad news and he will be tough to replace.

Best of luck to Jessie. I hope he stays in New England and continues to be a part of the thriving film community here. He’s certain to have a very bright future and I wish him all the best.
Jesse is a real talent who will be doing great things for a wider (probably global) audience to enjoy. NewTV was lucky to have him for as long as it did. So much good work done and the Emmy for the Folklorist promo is a wonderful additional feather in his cap. If you think the promo is good, just watch the actual Folklorist program itself. It’s fantastic.
Personally, it was a pleasure to work with Jesse on the Silver Alert PSA. To see him take the script I wrote and turn it into an emotionally impactful piece with the visual and editing quality of a mini-documentary was exciting. His attention to detail and artistic integrity is something I respect. There is one sequence (around:45 into the piece) that is I believe is signature Jesse. He essentially took what had the potential to be an important but boring PSA and turned it into a film quality award winning work of art. That’s rare, and I thank him.
I can’t wait to see his first feature length film: http://www.thewakefilm.com
Watch out Hollywood.
