When I first met Barbara Brousal-Glaser as she was running for ward 3 alderman a few years back, she looked very familiar to me, but I just couldn’t place it. Just recently, though an odd sort of coincidences, I figured it out. Barbara is a singer and songwriter who spent seven years as a member of Grammy Award-winning Dan Zanes and Friends, a family folk band that was a huge favorite in my family when our son was young (Zanes and I have an even longer history, his prior band the Del Fuegos, played at my wedding.)
Anyway here’s Barbara is in 2010 singing with Zanes at the Life if Good Festival. followed by a video shown on the Disney Channel.
