If the course is “too easy” coming from Hopkinson to Boston, they could just verse the course, starting in Boston and ending Hopkinson.
Dan, unfortunately it’s not only the elevation issue; in order to prevent advantages from tailwinds, a straight line between start and finish is supposed to be no more than 50% of the race distance.
Have them start at Copley, head 1/2-way to Hopkinton and pull a U-ie?
