Come out and support your community farm and have a great time with whole family at the 8th annual Newton Community Farm Fall Festival on Sunday Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bring the strangest tomatoes, eggplant, and squash from your garden to be judged by Farmer Greg and friends in a quest to find the strangest looking vegetable in Newton.  Or compete in the first annual Fall Festival Apple Pie Baking Contest, judged by notable members of the Newton community.

There will be plenty of food and drink for purchase and activities for the kids, including pumpkin decorating and interactive play in the learning garden.  Farm tours start on half hour and include a look at the newly renovated barn.

The farm stand will be open with seasonal produce for sale.  Come celebrate the season and life on an urban farm.  All proceeds from the Fall Festival go to support the educational mission of the Newton Community Farm.
