Once upon a time Four Corners was considered a village.
Officially? Who knows? But it was “accepted wisdom”. Of course, that was when South Pacific made it the epicenter of Newton.
Village 15 has a ring to it Greg.
If Four Corners wants to be Newton’s 15th village, I have no objection.

So what are they counting? Oak Hill Park separately from Oak Hill? Thompsonville’s in the 13, right? Where’s that Tour de Newton button picture?

It’s time we all start sweating Reibman and his sneaky powers. Guy is his own village now. I’m reminded of the Family Guy episode when Peter’s land was declared independent and he renamed it Petoria.
Dear V14 Area Council President — Any chance you can bring back more food articles? I think it was Chuck Tanowitz (??) that was writing some good ones at one time.

While there certainly are 14 Villages counting V14, the official tally is 13, and that page on the website has been corrected.

I’m sorry I’ve been quiet Hoss. I will try to revive my food writing in 2014. I’ve already had a couple of great burritos in Newtonville.

The City’s map of the villages: http://www.newtonma.gov/civicax/filebank/documents/39223. It has Oak Hill Park as the 14th village.
But Economic Development has 13: http://www.newtonma.gov/gov/planning/lrplan/econdev/villages.asp
