Well they managed to get one out for Bike Friday, YAY!
DPW staff clearly can’t read or understand you don’t place these things randomly… Though they did put cones out, so its all ok now!
Sigh…

I have a friend who commutes into Boston by bike, and he photographs every police and business delivery vehicle that is double-parked in a bike lane for a non-emergency. He sends the photo to the business, the police department, and/or Boston’s bicycle liaison along with a polite note requesting that the driver be reminded about the safety compromise to cyclists of this parking choice. As more and more cyclists take to the roads for commuting and recreation, road-sharing awareness of both drivers and cyclists must increase.
