This delivery bike is due to arrive at Dunn-Gaherin’s in the next few days. As soon as it arrives, the popular Upper Falls restaurant will immediately begin delivering lunches via bicycle to the surrounding area. Once they get the hang of it, they’ll move on to dinner delivery.
Seana Gaherin’s been waiting months for the custom designed bike and is thrilled that they’ll begin their deliveries in the next few days just as the weather has warmed up. I’m thrilled because I mostly work at home in the neighborhood and my lunch options just got a lot better.
This is great! A Newton First!
No word yet whether they’ll be a surcharge for deliveries to the top of the extremely steep and high Cottage St (aka Upper Upper Falls)
A mini green food truck! Bring ’em!
So cool and a super neat idea! Good luck to the adventures
I don’t know if deliveries have started yet but I just saw the bike in the back of the restaurant. Way cool! I’ve got my take-out menu, so I’m ready.
This is great – love the “got meatleaf?” sign on the bike. I hope the Highlands is in the service area – we would definitely put in an order now and then.
Another great idea by that marketing whirlwind Seana Gaherin!
But won’t the Guinness be flat by the time it gets to you?
That basket’s got a mini-keg in it.
