Yesterday was the last day for Andrew Warner and Patrick Johnson as they said goodbye to Newton. Andrew was the Performance Management Analyst in the Mayor’s office and will be starting law school in the fall. Pat was Executive Assistant to the Mayor leaving to continue hie education. Both were helpful and engaging members of Setti’s staff and we wish them well.
Farewell to Andrew and Pat

I will miss these two guys very much for personal and professional reasons. Tell them about Andrew and Tim the next time they suggest that the Mayor hires incompetent “political cronies” or as a patronage reward.
Sorry, the last post was garbled. I got distracted by our cat who was chasing what she thought was a mouse or some other small animal. Anyhow, there have been a few comments on the web suggesting that Setti hires incompetent political cronies as a kind of a patronage package. Anyone that has dealt with Andrew, Pat or Megan as I have done on many occasions knows they were hired because they are highly competent. Say what you will about the Mayor, he knows how to find and hire good people. That’s the sign of a good manager and a good leader.
Great guys, both. Best of luck, gentlemen. And thank you for your service.
Best of success, Andrew and Pat!
Best of success to Andrew and Pat.
I agree with Bob Burke. This Mayor has demonstrated that he knows how to identify and hire competent and qualified people.
Big fan of these guys. Our city was lucky to have them.
Big shoes to fill, they will definitely be missed. They were wonderful people and a big help. Good Luck, I wish you both the best.
We’ll be hearing more about Andrew and Patrick. These guys are professional, polished young men who have great futures ahead of them. Newton was lucky to have them.
Good luck!
Best of luck to both of you. I have always found the Mayor’s front office to be a pleasure to deal with – professional and effecient and met with a warm hello.
