Lower Falls Pedestrian Bridge
In a piece in the latest TAB, Anatol Zukerman explores the same thing I couldn’t help but notice when none of Newton’s Ward 7 4 aldermen showed up at the very impressive May 8 Lower Falls bridge dedication:
Notably absent from the celebration were the three aldermen from Auburndale: Leonard Gentile, Jay Harney and Amy Sangiolo. They had a good reason for skipping the event: together with a small number of local abutters they resisted the renovation of the bridge for 7 years!
Auburndale is still in Ward 4, Greg, despite this year’s redistricting. Ward 7 has Ruthanne Fuller, Marc Laredo and Lisle Baker: they didn’t attend either.
