Walking to the car from Sunday school this morning, the darling daughter noticed this stretch of new sidewalk, replacing a ratty gravel path on a moderately trafficked bit between Comm. Ave. and Ward St.
This is how the city improves the situation for pedestrians. It’s not glamorous or high-profile, but it matters.
It matters a lot, and there’s a lot more work to be done. To me, the sidewalks are one of the best things in Newton. Thanks for posting this.
