“… Clothing Ban” headline – As on so many Fox stories they don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story – i.e. there was no ban
So Fox News wants kids to feel left out. Solid.
Clowns.
I was actually pleasantly surprised by the coverage… the male guest was credible and persuasive and they actually let him make his points even though he was opposed to the Fox News viewpoint.
@Emily – “they actually let him make his points” – True, but it was almost comical how the moderator in the middle jumped right in and couldn’t bear to wait the few seconds for the opposing side to respond and rebut him.
@Jerry – agreed. However that to me just made her (the moderator) look even more pathetic and desperate. She was arguing against a man who was calling for kids to be taught empathy, who was saying “Isn’t it time we teach good character in schools?” I cannot help but think that even some regular Fox viewers were not on her side. In any case Fox has come a long way since Hannity & Colmes where Allen Colmes was the pathetic liberal voice.
I wonder how the discussion might have been different if it was made clear this was just a REQUEST that parents and kids be more sensitive to others.
Bu then there would have been no story, right?
This is Fox News reporting on this story. What would you expect?
